Who is behind O'Reilly Data?

Tom O'Reilly - CEO

Tom O’Reilly grew up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in the USA. In 2001 he met a wonderful danish girl. The have since maried, and today live and raise their family in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The dream of starting his own IT-support company came from the desire to combine the highest levels of customer service that he learned working for some of the best hotels and resorts in the world, along, with a high technical qualiy within IT-support – and to optimize that for smaller companies. In Tom's experience, today smaller companies either settle with their IT-Service, or are forced to spend "Enterprise-level" money to get the level of IT that they need.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

By oursourcing your company's IT you can get a very high level of IT on a smaller budget. You can leave the technical stuff to others, so that you can focus on your core business. That was the reasoning behind the decision to start O’Reilly Data in 2009.
